McPeak's Assisted Living $3400 Mo Starting Cost

He complained about the food sometimes, but he was always a fussy eater. All in all I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a home for the elder loved ones. McPeaks made my grandpa feel right at home and he always had a smile on his face.

You're not going to find something like that at that price point. One of the best things about the place is that price point. What sold me were the price and its home-like environment.

When they get to a stage, they are moved to another facility. I met three ladies on our way out that seemed like they would be good friends for her. Does your staff try to match up people? The place was clean but was totally different than Assistant Living.

Rehabilitation Care

My grandpa lived their for 2 years until he passed away at 96. In those 2 years he had nothing but nice things to say about the staff and the facility as a whole. He loved the parties they threw on the holidays.

In addition to a full range of social and recreational activities, McPeak's offers Private and Semi-Private rooms with bath ensuites. There is a beauty shop on the premises. Four lounges with flat screen TVs. You also enjoy freedom from housekeeping chores and worries. There is no need to shop, cook and clean, day in and day out.

The Patchogue Area

Providing excellent care has allowed McPeak's to have met all of the New York State Department of Health's requirements for over 60 years. The staff was lovely and very interactive. Everything seemed to be good, but it wasn’t the right place for my husband. We are very pleased with McPeaks.

My relative is doing well at McPeak's Assisted Living. It's like a home, and it's very small. They can have more than 50 people there, but now they don't even have that many. They have maybe somewhere around 30 or 40 people living there. It's more personalized attention. This was founded by grandparents.

I think an aide should have gotten her out of that situation since she can't move very well. The two aides were sweet but no one noticed. So many of the residents have Alzheimers. I didn't think Assisted Living was for them. Facilities have a different set up.

You can be assured of a secure way of life, safe from harm and the dangers of living alone in today’s unsettled society. You can look forward to the company of others with mutual interests and the positive joys of making new friends. You’ll always have someone to talk to, someone who cares.

A Standard of Excellence for Our Residents

The only place I'm able to see him would be a certain area designated for visitation. From what he's telling me, the activities sound very good and very interesting. It could be anywhere from table bowling to discussions about current events, movies, and some stretching activities. The only thing is they don't have it on the weekends. Value for money is excellent because it's about a third the cost of what it normally would be in New York.

FAMILY-OWNED and OPERATED, McPeak's was founded in 1956, McPeak's is licensed by the New York State Department of Health. After my grandmother passed away , my grandpa was unfit to care for himself. We looked at a couple of assisted homes but he seemed to really like McPeaks. From the moment we first took a tour the staff was kind and courteous.

“Words cannot express how grateful my family and I are for the wonderful care you and your staff have provided for my mother over the past few years. We offer a hair salon on our premises, transportation services, private and semi-private room options, telephone jacks in every room and four lounges with color TVs. Could you say a little more about it? Anything you can share will help other families choose the perfect community. McPeak's is a CLEAN and SAFE and COMFORTABLE.

She brings the service dogs around every week. They do a lot of things with the residents. My dad has been really happy there, so I don't have any issues with anything. I went to visit with my daughter in law. Her mother has been there about a week or two and is not very happy. Going in I saw her sitting on a sofa with a sleeping man's hand on her person.
